So much has happened, I guess the only way to start is with who I am, my name is Elliah Peers, I guess im lucky since im a noble of sorts. Im an old man now so I cant do much so i decided to write this, its one of the few ways i know to conserve my sanity. I live in the vault. The vault is a very old city, the vault was built un the ruins of a pre-war city, surprisingly some of the buildings from the old city still stand to this day and are used. The reason the vault is so important is because of the vault (reason why the city is called like such) You see, this vault supposedly holds old world technology technology that the brotherhood is very interested in…
Now lets talk about the brotherhood, the old world brotherhood simply referred as the “brotherhood”, they’re a religious zealots who control the city, they worship the vault as their god they think worshipping the vault is the only way of surviving the wastes, those fools. Worst of all they shove their beliefs upon all the citizens of the vault, if they don't worship their precious vault they’ll be tortured or they disappear to be never heard from again. The brotherhood have a hierarchy system theres the peasant class which consists of worker, traders farmers etc….. then theres the noblemen which consist of wealthy people, farm owners philosopher and sophisticated people and finally theres the higher up which consists purely from members of the brotherhood oh and lastly theres the king, or arch drake ( the leader of the vault)
Each day is the same thing, I wake up i eat my dehydrated food and then i sit in my balcony which is overmatching part of the city, then I don't do much I cant walk for long so i don't go out much but when I do I go to the market stands, sometimes scavengers find useful trinkets which i find entertaining and interesting. For the other people, the people down there though their lives are hard, they work all days sometimes nonstop and then they’re lied to, treated like mindless beings, the cruelty that happens down there is unbelievable.
