I guess I should apologize for not writing in so long but I couldn’t, so much has happened from the famines to the mass purges to the revolution, huh I knew it would happen now its just a matter of time before that flame reaches me. So to recap what happened? Well, after the various riots the brotherhood started killing anyone who even dared mention the riots or even talk about a revolution. Then the famines started and finally after months of suffering from hunger the people revolted and the Brotherhood couldn't do nothing, they had superior weapons but they couldn't hold the lower parts of the city for long, and after more months of fighting the brotherhood has been driven back to the upper parts of the city, we’re cornered like rats with no way out and soon the revolutionaries will come up here and end the revolution.

I knew this would happen and im ready for whatever comes next, maybe they’ll spare us? no they’ll kill us, none of us will survive will be made an example like the Brotherhood made an example when the purges occurred….

And what about the Brotherhood? they couldn't handle a revolution some of them are hold up in their little fort of theirs others have gone to the Vault to worship it one last time and finally others have committed suicide seeing as they couldn’t handle the pressure or they were simply scared of the revolutionaries. The view from my balcony has changed, its now only fire and utter chaos. I can hear them, they’ve reached us, they have penetrated the walls, I hear shouting in the distance, some faint gun shots but then I hear more and more shouts. 

Now that I think about it, although I hated the Brotherhood and felt sorry for the people of the lower levels Im not sure whats gonna happen after the revolution, will they finally live in a fair society? or will another regime rise up and be as oppressive as the Brotherhood? Wait I can hear them, they’re outside my house, I wish I could write more but my time has come….

Entry #3

I dont know how many hours I slept but when i woke up I heard faint screams and gunshots in the distance but i didn't bother to get up I thought it was a dream. When i did finally woke up the PA system turned on, I was still in bed when it started and then I heard the Archdrake’s voice He announced that due to the recent riots near the lower parts of the city and the mines the brotherhood had increased the work wages and the brotherhood would be more strict with curfews and such….

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, was the brotherhood that dumb? could they really think that would keep their workers in line? such foolishness, its like an ember, it just need something and then it will turn into a flame…

The past couple of weeks have been unsettling I have stopped going to the market for I fear that situation down there was been worsening more everyday. I cant sleep at night. Theres an ember in this city and its just a matter of time before that ember turns into a flame and that flame will engulf the city in fire and nothing will survive. Nowadays I just sit all day in my balcony with my binoculars and I just observe. I cant do much for I don't have much time left, im old and I know that when the time comes ill be ready….

A couple of months have passed since the incident, and there have been more riots the people are getting tired of the tyranny of the brotherhood….
